Nick Name:GYPSY …..I adapted this name from text book wrapper of my 7th standard Science Text Book (which incidentally had an advertisement for GYPSUM… the last letter M went into the fold and only and I made U to Y and GYPSY was born as a super abbreviation of my name from G.Balachandran to GBC to gypsy.( Years Later Maruti Motors stole my name for its Maruti Gypsy)
And true to its name, I am a vagabound, a travel loving cool headed one who changed places off and on.Moved from Kerala (Parur) to Madhya Pradesh (Nagda) to Karnataka (Harihar) to Madya Pradesh (Ujjain) to Karnataka (Madya) to Gujarat(Rajkot) to Alwaye(Kerala) to Ernakulam (Kerala) to Alwaye (Kerala) to Ernakulam(Kerala) to Palghat(Kerala) to Ernakula(Kerala) to Bangalore where finally I am now for the past eight years…..!

Statrted my Career as a Textile Quality Analyst in Grasim Industries, Nagda, Then Joined and Served a Nationlized Bank for 23 years and finally ..opted for voluntary retirement disillusioned with the promotion polices of the Nationalised Banks where 80/20 principle is in prominance and I believed I belonged to the minority 20%
Worked as a Financial Consultant, and then as Finance Manager for EQUATIONS,an NGO ..Then as Finance Manager in a Manufacturing Company General Manager Finance and Administration in a Logistics Company and Presently Finance Controller for a group of Companies engaged in Trading of Aviation & Satellite Spares, its associated company in Singapore sister company in Realty Sector and another sister company in Tourism and Hospitality sector and yet another sister concern in Recruiting & Outsourcing………….
